Terms & Conditions Acceptance of Terms This web-site and
its contents are owned by Joget Joget Enterprise Pte Ltd (JJE in short). By surfing,
making application of rental on this web-site, you understand and accept to abide
by its terms and conditions stated below and where at our sole discretion may
update, add and modify from times to times without prior notification. You are
to, at your own responsibility; update yourself with these terms and conditions.
Genuine Interest This is a dedicated site serving the retail
Applicant community. Membership is offered to only genuine retail Applicants.
If you are an aspiring new comer to the retail industry or an existing vendor,
JJE welcomes you to register as our members. If you are just interested to know
more about us, JJE welcomes you to surf at your free will but you will not be
able to make any application for event's stall rental. Events' Ownership
All events posted on this website are either solely organized by JJE or by a third
party organizer. In the case of a third party organizer, JJE functions as a reseller.
In whichever case, by booking through us, you are protected at the same times
bind by the clauses laid down in the application's Terms and Conditions. This
is found below and also in the General Application cum Agreement Form. Proxy
Booking & Reseller You are not to make proxy booking for other party
or make subsequent assignment of stall booked by you to any third party. Currently
JJE do not work with reseller or agent. To confirm whether you are dealing with

for verification. Application's Terms and Conditions This section
covers the general terms and conditions of rental. Before you make an application,
you must familiarize yourself with these terms and conditions as you are deemed
to have agreed to them when you apply. Application All applications
to rent an event stall must be made either via on-line on this web-site or by
faxing the General Application Cum Agreement Form which is also downloadable from
this web-site. Alternatively, you can request for a General Application Cum Agreement
Form via SMS to (65)94242420. You are to provide key information such as <which
event you are interested in>, <reply fax or e-mail>, <name> &
<what you sell> when you send your SMS. Approval and Payment
All applications are subject to JJE's approval and only successful Applicant will
be notified. Upon receiving our approval confirmation which can be either an e-mail(if
you book on-line) or a fax reply (if you book through faxing), the Applicant has
to pay within 7 days 50% of the rental as a non-refundable deposit if the first
day of the rental period is more than 30days away. All rental payment must be
paid in full, 30 days from the first day of the rental period otherwise JJE can
rescind the contract, assign the stall to other Applicant, keep whatever deposit
collected from the Applicant without further notice to the Applicant. All payment
made is non-refundable. Plans are Not to Scale Most of the events'
layout plans shown on the website and hardcopy rate card are not to scale drawings.
Under no circumstances will the Applicant dispute that the actual stall rented
to her is not what he visualised it to be and he will not withdraw from the event
or make claim from JJE out of such nature. Change of Stalls While
JJE endeavours to allocate the Applicant to the stall JJE has approved for him,
there are occasions, although not often due to various reasons, that the actual
stall allocated to him on the day of event may be a different one. Unless the
actual stall is more than 50 metre apart from the stall JJE have approved, the
Applicant will accept this stall and make no claim from JJE. Change of
Rental Rates JJE reserves the full rights to amend rental rate of any
event posted on this web-site without giving prior notice. JJE will commit to
the rate on the Applicant's application provided it is approved in the first place.
Cancellation of Event In the event, if the Event has to be cancelled
for whatever reason, JJE's responsibility will be strictly limited to the return
of rental money. Applicant will have no further claim due to such cancellation. Standard
Provisions The Applicant needs to find out what are the standard provisions
for his rental. These may differ from event to event. Usually these are stated
in the rate card. Things to look out for include size of stall, type of stall
(kiosk, table, booth with partition or open space), number of electrical plug,
lighting, number of chair and security issues. Marketing Programmes
& Advertising All marketing programmes and advertising related campaigns
are subject to change by the event organiser at his discretion and no prior notice
will be necessary given to the Applicant. Set-Up, Dismantle & Operations
Hours The Applicant will only check in to set up his stall on the stipulated
set-up time and to be completed before the official opening of the event. He will
vacate the stall and remove all his properties and rubbish on the last day of
the rental period. JJE or its Superior landlord has the rights to remove any property
left behind by the Applicant and the Applicant will be responsible for the cost
of such action. Conversely the Applicant will have no claim on JJE or its Superior
landlord for such action. Superior Landlord refers to the party which JJE rented
the place to stage the event. The Applicant will strictly adhere to the operations
hours of the event. If he opens late or closes early or fails to operate on more
than 1 occasion, JJE has the right to evict him from the event with no refund
of rental. JJE may subsequently rent out this stall to another Applicant. Territorial
Space and Limitation of Display The Applicant will strictly limit the
use of space to the territorial space assigned to him. The territorial space is
defined as the Stall and its demarcated area which the Applicant will operate
within. In situation where there is no tangible boundary parameter drawn up to
separate the Applicant's territorial space from that of another Applicant, the
territorial space will be the space verbally defined to the Applicant during the
event or when a dispute occurs. JJE's definition of this space is final and the
Applicant hereby agrees to this. At no time will he exceed his territorial space
or display any object outside his territorial space. He will not display any object
that is higher than 1.5metre tall or in anyway causes visual obstruction to the
surrounding stalls and shops. He will not display any promotional material that
is hand-written or of bad quality that will affect the image of the estate. He
will not cover his products or Stall at anytime with whatever material. He will
not shift the Stall at any times. All products are to be kept within the space
below the table. Food Applicants All Applicants who apply for
our Food Fairs must be registered with the National Environment Agency (NEA).
If you are not a regular food vendor, you may need to get temporary clearance
from NEA. NEA address is 40 Scotts Road, Environment Building, #13-00, Singapore
228231. Tel: (65) 67319175; Fax: (65) 67345787. At all times, you will indemnify
JJE and its Superior Landlord from any claims arising from your operations at
the event and this is not limited to just food poisoning. During operations, you
are to ensure full hygiene standard are kept by your stall handlers. All Staff
serving food must wear glove and apron. All food is to be properly transported
to the event scene and even when there are to be properly stored. You are not
to keep any left-over food at the stall overnight. Other Terms and
Conditions At all times, the Applicant will, - sell only things
that are listed in Application Form and allowed by the Law
- keep his
territory clean at all times and throw away carton boxes and rubbish to the bin
centre only
- ensure a maximum of 2 staff be present and that they are properly
dressed and exhibit proper mannerism
- not be a nuisance to his neighbour
and the landlord by playing loud music, smoking or to conduct himself or allow
his staff to conduct in anyway that affect other people adversely.
- solely
take up on his own necessary insurance for the protection of his goods and public
liability
- not assign his Stall to anyone nor to add in new products without
JJE's permission.
- fully indemnify JJE, its superior landlord, directors
and staff from all claims and lawsuits raised due to the Applicant's business
- fully
indemnify JJE, its superior landlord, directors and staff from any loss and damage
to the Applicant's products and properties
- not add any temporary or permanent
fixture to the stall or do work such as hammering, screwing or gluing to the Stall
- not
damage JJE's and the Landlord's properties, not limited to only the stall, at
all times
Breach and Early Termination At any times if
the Applicant breaches any of the above conditions, he gives JJE the full right
to eject him from the stall and terminate his rental on the spot without any refund
of rental and security deposit. In the event if JJE has to terminate the Applicant
not due to any fault of the Applicant, JJE will only need to refund the rental
based on the number of unused rental days. The Applicant will have no further
claim from JJE whatsoever. |
